Summer Studies

Inspired by our connection to the natural world, a desire to rewild my heart and soul, and a deep appreciation for the quiet magic that wildlife and nature bring to our lives.

From the call of a loon echoing across the water to the comfort of returning to a favourite tree, I create art that brings those moments home, gentle reminders to slow down, reconnect, and never forget how deeply everything is connected and the need for protection and conservation.

This piece was created as a commissioned work.

A collection of photographs from a couple's travels around the world was shared with me, along with complete creative freedom to create something that would honour the legacy of their memories.

Every element was thoughtfully chosen and rooted in personal meaning and symbolism, resulting in a piece that tells their story and celebrates the places, experiences, and moments that have shaped their journey together.
